Subject: [RT #115402:] Perldoc broken by typo
The following bug report was filed by Volker Schatz at https://rt.perl.org/rt3/Ticket/Display.html?id=115402. As Pod-Perldoc is listed in Porting/Maintainers.pl as being maintained on CPAN, I am moving the report to this queue. -- Jim Keenan Hello, Perldoc.pm (and hence perldoc) is broken by a typo: "Is_dos" should be "is_dos" in line 1426 of cpan/Pod-Perldoc/lib/Pod/Perldoc.pm in version fad493ef3 in the official repository (git://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git). Error message when running perldoc (for Perl v5.16.1, so the line number is off): Can't locate object method "Is_dos" via package "Pod::Perldoc" at /usr/share/perl5/core_perl/Pod/Perldoc.pm line 1424. Broken since 0909e3f8e, fix trivial. Kind regards, Volker

It looks like this has already been fixed in https://github.com/mrallen1/Pod-Perldoc/commit/80d17781c69245cfc30f44aae82a43150127580c -- it just needs releasing. Smylers

Exactly. Hopefully I can get the tuits within the next week. I also want to address the Unicode issues as well, so that's why I've been putting off a release.
