Also: File::Spec must be used instead of concat with .cpan in HandleConfig. I'm looking into it.

I have applied two patches. There will be more to it but I have no access to a VMS system. I have found http://h20341.www2.hp.com/integrity/us/en/systems/integrity-hpux-sandbox.html and have applied for sandbox access on OpenVMS already last Friday but HP has not answered. I have also found http://www.migrationspecialties.com/FreeAXP.html but it seems one needs a Windows system to get this going and I'm not sure that this would be useful.
