Subject: fameperl maintenance on CPAN
Fernando reported some years ago that he no longer works with and would not be maintaining the "fameperl" module. As I recall, he allowed as how he would be fine with me taking over said maintenance / upkeep. Today, I sent an email to whatever email addresses I could find for him asking if this is still the case. If he is amenable, I will ask to be added as a co-contributor so that I can possibly update this to work with Fame 10+. The two I sent were: * trias@cpan.org * ftrias@bigfoot.com I don't know if every(any?)body can find this ticket outside of the ticketing system so I am not certain how to figure out who uses "fameperl". I received one delivery failure for this already, apparently for trias@cpan.org: Hi. This is the qmail-send program at x1.develooper.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <fernando@pedestalsoftware.com>: Remote host said: 550 No Such User Here Oddly, (or maybe not so oddly) I received another failure message: Generating server: litemail54.bigfoot.com fernando@pedestalsoftware.com 67.18.29.156 #<67.18.29.156 #5.1.1 SMTP; 550 No Such User Here> #SMTP# which might be from the bigfoot.com address. Considering that "bigfoot.com" (http://bigfoot.com/about-us.php) says it was founded in 2004 and is a film entertainment company, I am guessing that all traces of Fernando via this path are dried up. I have tried to contact him via LinkedIn.
