Subject: recommended configuration 404's on http://localhost/beerdb
this works fine=> http://localhost/beerdb/ this will get you a 404 after being processed by Maypole => http://localhost/beerdb/ it tries to load htdocs/frontpage.

I'm sorry. The difference is in the trailing slash in the url (I had it right in the subject, wrong in the desc). The slash necessary but not intuitive.

No problem. I'm not sure when this was fixed, but I can replicate the problem with Maypole 1.7, but not with 2.04. What version are you using? --simonflk
