Subject: Need SvPV_nomg_nolen
Patch in RT#78079 for Compress::Raw::Zlib only works if Perl is >= 5.14. Older versions of Perl give SvPV_nomg_nolen as an unresolved symbol. The patch to Compress::Raw::Zlib originated in blead, but hasn't been applied as yet. Paul

I've just committed this change: https://github.com/mhx/Devel- PPPort/commit/3afa7af88e716cebcc4a6c34d2dd8a7e5c66bf25 You can generate a new ppport.h by cloning https://github.com/mhx/Devel-PPPort and running # perl Makefile.PL # make regen # make Please let me know if that fixes your issue. Thanks Marcus, updated C:R:Zlib & Bzip to use SvPV_nomg_nolen. Tests all work fine with all Perl from 5.6.0 up to 5.16.1. cheers Paul

I just used you github's PPPort for SvPV_nomg_nolen and it works fine for me
