(Besides that, "informations" is also used as a function name ...) Hi, Thanks for the submission. The module has been fixed, the updated version will soon be available at CPAN. Please note that Debian distribution provides a very old version that cann't work anymore due to VIES interface changes. Webservices are depedencies that are still not part of any package management system. Kind regards, Bernard

We currently have 0.20 in stable and 1.00 in testing and unstable. From looking at CPAN 1.00 seems to be the current version, right? (And yes, stable releases and web services don't go together well ...) Cheers, gregor -- .''`. I'm sorry, while re-reading your submission, it appeared that I corrected another spelling issue. The one you pointed out will be fixed in the very next release. Show quoted text

You responded so fast that CPAN hasn't published the new version (1.0.1) at that time. It fixed an UTF8 encoding issue that made pod testing failing and POD page displaying some bad characters on non-utf-8 systems. It's good to have the SOAP version (1.0.1) in testing, so that users of the upcoming Debian stable version will be able to use this module. Show quoted text

Kind regards, Bernard
Hi Gregor, That glitch has been fixed in 1.0.2, which should be available soon at CPAN. Kind regards, Bernard

Testing is frozen in preparation of the next release, so no new versions are allowed there unless they fix serious bugs (and then the usual way is to backport a minimal fix). I assume the fix for "Benoît" in http://search.cpan.org/diff?from=Business-Tax-VAT-Validation-1.00&to=Business-Tax-VAT-Validation-1.01 doesn't qualify as release-critical; and the VIES SOAP interface stuff is already in 1.00, right? You're right. By the way, I think that this encoding issue won't have any impact on the module execution. Show quoted text
