I knew about the Modification of a read-only value attempted error in 0.24, 0.25 was supposed to fix that but it does look like it causes more problems for Crypt-X509 I have a fix for this and will release soon. Just adding some tests from X509 into the test suite Graham.

Convert::ASN1 0.26 has just been released to CPAN and should fix these errors
