Subject: Feature request: support 'print'
For logging "info" level messages in a development environment, "print" would be handy; right now the best alternative is to use Log::Dispatch::Handle with STDOUT directly. If you point me towards your repository, I can supply a patch - the meta information is not in the distribution, and I can't find you on github. thanks!

I'm not on github (yet). Please supply the patch here, with any additional tests, and I'll release a new version shortly. Thanks for your report! Liz

I never got around to writing a patch, but if you're interested in putting this module up for adoption, I'll adopt it and then I'll nag myself more about writing one :D

I know I'm pretty late to the party. It turns out Log-Dispatch-Perl is currently up for adoption! It would be awesome if you could take it over :) Context that brought me here: in the Debian perl group we're wondering what to do about this package; the fact it's only in BackPAN nowadays is a bit inconvenient for us. OTOH it's a test dependency of RT so there's value in keeping the package in Debian. Cheers!
