I haven't had time to work on the issue, I marked a test that was failing as TODO so that the issue wouldn't block the module from installing. Which means that there is an active bug until I have some time to work through what is happening. Realistically I don't see having any time to work spend on this until after the U.S. Election -- I've been nominated as a Presidential Elector for Governor Gary Johnson, and my priority is to make carrying out that office a reality. mxcheck is fixed in the latest dev version (98_01) of String::Validator::Email. I opened a bug for Email-Valid (79941), but implemented the fix directly in String::Validator::Email.
