Installed Strawberry Perl 5.14.2.1 on a Windows 7 machine successfully. Used CPAN to install pp version 1.013 and it failed with the error message windres: unexpected version string length 68 != 32 + 8 force and fforce make no difference. One month ago I installed Strawberry Perl 5.14.2.0 on an identical PC and pp installed fine.

Are you trying to install pp on 32 or 64bit strawberry perl 5.14.2.1 ? -- kmx
