This was fixed by perl commit eade715.

Yes, I saw that. I looked at it closely and I can't reproduce it with 5.15.9 on Mac. Looking at the test code vs. he test failure output, I strongly suspect a bug in 5.15.9 or your test environment and not in my library. It’s not broken in 5.15.9. It was broken after 5.15.9 by commit v5.15.9-35-g5db1eb8 and fixed yesterday by commit v5.15.9-89-geade715. Show quoted text
