https://github.com/xenoterracide/Pod-Spell/compare/build/dzil-ify source branch is just dzil-ify what I'd add to add to the Changes - new maintainer ( XENO ) - use modern dist layout - require perl 5.6 strict/warnings - Test::More - add stopwords to wordlist so that dist passes Test::PodSpelling with just Pod::Wordlist - use Dist::Zilla for repo managment, generated tests, and metadata ultimately I need to go through my dists to see what other stopwords need to be added, but TT (common abbreviation for Template Toolkit ) comes to mind. from the looks of it, I'd also want to work on cleaning up the actual code without breaking the API, but that'll take a while. re-factored the test to use Test::Most and make a whole lot more sense. it'll still need more work, but at least I can make some sense of it now. -- Caleb Cushing http://xenoterracide.com

back to the wordlist I just got this spelling error in another dist I'm making login This is why I want to start getting this maintained again, because the wordlist is inadequate for modern needs. My other Changes were more towards the fact that I doubt the tests are being run by cpantesters and Pod::Spell* is not viewable on metacpan. -- Caleb Cushing http://xenoterracide.com

modules that rely on Pod::Spell have problems that require updates to Pod::Spell https://github.com/sartak/test-spelling/pull/3 and https://github.com/sartak/test-spelling/pull/5, I'd be willing to work on fixing these in Pod::Spell if you could give me comaint or maint. p.s. if you'd please give me maint I'll add other community members to the project. This will allow Pod::Spell to continue to be an integral module to checking a pods spelling, and continue to receive maintenance as long as Perl 5 does.
