Subject: no META.yml/META.json in dist

Hi there.

 

While trying to package your distribution for Gentoo ( in an experimental overlay ), I discovered your dist lacks META.yml which is essential for really working with dists.

It makes dists accessible to various automated tools, such as metacpan.org

 

Please provide in a future release a META.yml/META.json file , preferably with the LICENSE and ABSTRACT fields populated .

Providing a LICENSE field will enable metacpan.org to show a valid licensing type on the left of this page : https://metacpan.org/module/IPTables::Parse ( Instead of License : unknown ), and providing an ABSTRACT will inform metacpan.org what to display on this page: https://metacpan.org/author/MRASH ( Where it is currently blank )
