I couldn't install IPC::Run under Windows XP Home edition,
because the run.t test failed at line 348.
One of the two variables was an empty string.
I don't know how, but i realized that the %Env variable line 15 was
empty. I fixed it by changing it to %ENV.
Now the test passed OK, and my install worked.
I checked all the source files to change %Env everywhere i found it,
but... didn't find it anywhere. So i guess, IPC::Run will run as it
should now.
I don't know how to make a "general" fix that would work on any OS,
whether this environment variable is called %Env or %ENV. Hopefully, you
will :o)
