Subject: note that library dies in docs
Linux:usermod dies in certain places --which is fine, but it would be helpful if the docs said so. Alternatively, you might return undef and let the caller handle dying. For a library there is an argument that that this is the way to go.

Yes this is right - I haven't noted where does a critical error 'dies/ croaks'. It will be corrected in the manual. And if someone thinks it's easier way - then the return error value (if $@) will be put in $@, after inner 'eval'. Thank you! [guest - Sat Aug 28 09:22:22 2004]: Show quoted text
