Once Package::Stash::XS is installed by means of the fix that I just submitted, Package::Stash is very nearly happy on Perl 5.6. P:S:PP has an easily-resolved compilation error, and a corresponding runtime limitation that doesn't seem critical. Its test suite needs the same treatment as that of P:S:XS. Attached patch fixes. -zefram

Patch looks excellent. Is there a reason it has not been applied/released yet? I can help with the testing/packaging/etc if your time is scarce.

If someone can come up with a patch that applies against the repository (at http://github.com/doy/package-stash) and can verify that things work, I would have no problems with applying it. I'm not particularly interested in doing any more work than applying a patch, however.
