I have observed a possible problem with the scrollbar widget under Windows This problem does not seem to occur under Debian.
1. If you specify a width that is not the Windows default... when the scrollbar is initially rendered it's elements appear at Windows default width. Upon manually resizing the window, it redraws itself at the proper size. I am using Windows classic theme.
Sample code:
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
use Tk;
my $mw = MainWindow->new();
$mw->withdraw();
$mw->title("Scrollbar Test");
$mw->Scrollbar(
-width => 100,
)->pack(
);
$mw->update();
$mw->deiconify();
$mw->raise();
MainLoop();
exit(0);
