Subject: Uninstallable on perls < 5.8.8
P::U 0.33 made installation on gcc-less perls < 5.8.8 impossible, since it depends on an unavailable version of Scalar::Util https://metacpan.org/source/ADAMK/Params-Util-1.04/Changes#L52 Would you consider relaxing this requirement in the spirit of https://metacpan.org/source/ADAMK/Params-Util-1.04/Changes#L98 Perhaps middle-ground could be struck by simply reimplementing looks_like_number() with a dumb string eval if $] < '5.008008'. I am willing to do all the legwork to fix this, but want to ask your opinion on the subject before I start.
