scripts get too clean

In the podlators-2.4.0 build process, "make distclean" deletes the two
files that shipped in the scripts/ subdirectory. This is a bit cleaner
than intended.

Indeed. This was left over from when they were *.PL scripts. This will
be fixed in the next release (hopefully coming soon).
