Hi Fabien,
thank you for your report.
Unfortunately there is no AFSperl version available which compiles
with the latest OpenAFS versions 1.6.X at the moment.
Right now I am working with high pressure on an update of AFSperl
v2.6.2 that it works on 32-bit and 64-bit platforms under threaded and
non-threaded Perl.
After that release I will go on to OpenAFS version 1.6.X; This will
be a major task as I have to cooperate very closely with the OpenAFS
developer to restructure certain OpenAFS libraries. And this may take
some time. But this does not mean you can't use AFSperl in the meantime
You could link the AFSperl modules against OpenAFS 1.4.X system
libraries even if you are using OpenAFS 1.6.X servers and clients.
But for this you should definitely wait for the upcoming new release
AFSperl v2.6.3
If you want to get more detailed instruction about that, just let me
know.
Cheers,
Norbert
