Subject: LICENSE file and copyright headers .pm files use old FSF mailing address
As part of importing GLib-Object-Introspection into Fedora, we run rpmlint. This has reported that the FSF address in Introspection.pm and LICENSE is now outdated: $ rpmlint perl-Glib-Object-Introspection-0.004-1.fc17.x86_64.rpm perl-Glib-Object-Introspection.x86_64: E: incorrect-fsf-address /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/Glib/Object/Introspection.pm perl-Glib-Object-Introspection.x86_64: E: incorrect-fsf-address /usr/share/doc/perl-Glib-Object-Introspection-0.004/LICENSE 1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 2 errors, 5 warnings. The latest address is "51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1301 USA" (checked against : https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/lgpl-2.1.txt )

I have a patch that's making the rounds that changes the address. I'll close this ticket once it's been accepted and pushed to the public repo. It would make the release in December if this happens. Thanks, Brian

Updated address of FSF, pushed updates to git.gnome.org, commit ID be41f1682ec. Next release of this project is some time in the middle of December 2011. Please note that you will find similar lint failures all of the Gtk2-Perl modules, i.e. they all need to be updated. You can file tickets against each module, or wait for us to fix each module, your choice. Thanks
