Subject: PerformanceData Format for Thread_count in check_jmx4perl
Date: Mon, 14 Nov 2011 12:53:49 +0100
To: <bug-jmx4perl [...] rt.cpan.org>
From: Christian Michallek <christian.michallek [...] etecture.de>
Hi, im using jmx4perl 1.01 with the check_jmx4perl script and there seems to be an minor issue with the Performancedata of thread_count. Output of thread_count: OK - Thread-Count : Value 76 in range | Thread-Count=76; 800; 1000 there are spaces in the performancedata output. this is like thread_inc looks: OK - 0.00 Threads/minute | Thread-Increase=0;30;60 pnp4nagios cant process thread_count while its just fine with thread_inc. as far as i understand, the values need ' ' it theres a whitespace. greetings Christian -- Telephone +49 69 67737-136 Telefax +49 69 67737-111 christian.michallek@etecture.de ETECTURE GmbH Darmstädter Landstraße 112 60598 Frankfurt am Main Germany www.etecture.de Geschäftsführer: Christian Schwab Die Gesellschaft ist eingetragen beim Registergericht Frankfurt (Sitz der Gesellschaft) Nr. Hi Christian,

first of all sorry for the delay, I somewhat didn't get a notification mail.

Thanks for pointing this out, it will be fixed in 1.05. In the meantime you can fix
it yourself by removing the spaces in config/threads.cfg for the default critical
and waning values in the thread_count check (or provided ciritical and warning values
explicitely).

thanks ...
... roland
