Perl Version requirement

Hey I'm the maintainer of Task::Dancer and I try that all modules install on 5.8. I noticed this module is requiring 5.10.1. My question is: is the really needed (as in, you use 5.10.1 features) or it is just lying there, and the code might work as well in 5.8? Let me know if it is possible to have it working for 5.8. If not, I'll need to rewrite my makefile system to detect perl version :D Cheers ambs

I think it will be ok on 5.8. I'll make a new version of plugin (0.5) in a few days with META's and other things. :)

Hey Are you planning a new release really, really, soon, or should I release a new Task::Dancer without this module? Sorry for being poky, but I am stalling a new release of task::dancer for some time :) Alberto

Just added version 0.05 in PAUSE. I removed all perl requirements from Makefile.PL. Wait for some time, when it will appear in CPAN, test it please, and let me know. I'll close this ticket. Thank you!
