CGI.pm-3.56 is failing tests for me in this manner: t/fast.t ................. 1/10 # Failed test 'checking no active request' # at t/fast.t line 29. # got: 'FCGI=SCALAR(0x94a79c8)' # expected: undef # Looks like you failed 1 test of 10. t/fast.t ................. Dubious, test returned 1 (wstat 256, 0x100) Failed 1/10 subtests I have FCGI-0.74 installed. -zefram

I understand the sentiment. I don't have a Facebook account, and don't want one. Allowing anonymous access has it's own problems though-- namely spam to deal with. At least with Github, you can turn off most notifications, and people from high school won't suddenly express an interest in keeping in touch. I hope you'll consider following up via Github if you have more to say, but also understand if you don't want to have a Github account.
Appears to be fixed in CGI::Fast v2.00 and CGI.pm v4.00. Tested against 5.8.9 through to 5.20.0-RC1 with FCGI 0.74.
