Subject: | CPANPLUS reporting too terse for PASS reports |
I believe I have complained about this in the past but can't find the
traces where I did so. Please accept my apologies if this is a duplicate.
I'm missing the modules section in PASS report. For example compare the
two reports:
http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/17031236 (CPANPLUS)
http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/17036252 (CPAN::Reporter)
Watch the two sections "Prerequisite modules loaded" and "Perl module
toolchain versions installed" that CPAN::Reporter has and CPANPLUS has
not. Why? CPANPLUS is able to write these sections on FAILS, so it
should do for PASS as well.
This information is really needed, it has no value to read the versions
of modules on FAIL reports and then have nothing to compare to in the
PASS reports.
Thanks
