Running parallel tests for this sometimes fails because the separate test files share a common workspace for testing and randomly trample each other's files, this can be fixed by providing an individual workspace in the filesystem for each test.

There was also a later report for it at https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=90183 and it should be fixed in 1.53, which was released today. Sorry for the late response and thanks for the report.
