I use Classical Text Editor for book projects every now and then, and I
used it to generate TEI-compliant versions of three "manuscripts" (it's a
fake text, just for testing purposes). I uploaded those to your collation
project and it didn't recognize them for some reason. I've attached a
sample, in case you want to run some diagnostics.

I just tested the file you sent me - it seems I am expecting an
'xmlns' declaration in the TEI root element, and get confused when it
isn't there. I ought to be able to fix that pretty easily. In the
meantime, if you want to play with TEI texts in the interface, you can
turn <TEI> at the top into <TEI xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0">
