how about adding a link to pod that points to available/rec'd mirrors? I'd suggest this page: http://search.cpan.org/dist/CPAN-Mini/bin/minicpan Which contains everything you need, bar a list of mirrors, should contain a link to: http://www.cpan.org/SITES.html
