Subject: Test failure following 0.08 to 0.10 upgrade
Date: Fri, 9 Sep 2011 10:26:54 +0100
To: bug-Class-Load [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Nick <catalyst [...] acrasis.net>
After upgrading from 0.08 to 0.10, a test fails. Reverting to 0.08 causes the test to work again. The test failure message is $ CATALYST_DEBUG=0 TEST_POD=1 prove -wl t/live_app01.t t/live_app01.t .. 35/? [error] Caught exception in MyApp::Controller::Books->create "::Hidden is not a module name at /usr/share/perl5/HTML/FormHandler.pm line 217" In case it helps, Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libclass-load-perl depends on: ii libdata-optlist-perl 0.107-1 ii libpackage-stash-perl 0.32-1 ii libtry-tiny-perl 0.11-1 ii perl 5.12.4-4 The upgrade seems not to trouble the application, only the test. I'll be happy to provide more information. -- Nick

I'm told that the trouble is in HTML::FormHandler and that a fix is available. More to follow. -- Nick

An HTML::FormHandler upgrade worked, so it seems my bug report is bogus, please close. Sorry! -- Nick
