Hello,
I'd like to have an option for read-only configuration. That is, once
the configuration has been set, it cannot be changed by updating values
via param() or conf_hash().
This would give me the assurance in all parts of my application that
values are want I expect, and I don't have to worry that some other part
of has modified the configuration in a way that I don't expect.
I could see for example an accident where the "conf_hash" result was
copied by being passed into a routine, copied again, and then a value is
modified. Through the reference chain, the global version of the value
would be modified as well, although that was not the intent.
