Subject: non-existing require: soap::transport::ftp 0.712
latest version available on cpan: 0.711 either you need to release a 0.712 version for soap-transport-ftp, or lower the prereq in this dist.
Fixed in SVN in rev 391. Thanks for reporting, Martin

So, could you please either release SOAP::Lite 0.715 with a lower requirement for SOAP::Transport::FTP, or release SOAP::Transport::FTP 0.712? Having the bug only fixed in SVN is pretty useless to us. Thanks, LpSolit

Maybe you should read the SOAP::Transport::FTP perldoc. It would tell you that this module is unmaintained, and you can become maintainer if you want to. You could easily release SOAP::Transport::FTP 0.712 yourself. Show quoted text

You can alway change your installer behaviour, and install SOAP::Lite without FTP support first, and then SOAP::Transport::FTP. Or you can even say "cpan SOAP-Transport-FTP" which will install you both at once. So even if it's not immediately useful to you to have a fix in SVN, it doesn't mean theres an immediate urge to rush out the next release too - there are workarounds, and once installed things work as expected. Reopening the ticket, because it's not fixed in a release is, however, correct. Show quoted text
