for an example. There are files like ._Makefile.PL in the tarball. This
may prevent the CPAN shell on a non-macosx system to install the
distribution. In fact, looking at
http://matrix.cpantesters.org/?dist=perlbal-plugin-backendheaders+0.02
there seems to be not a single PASS of the distribution, even not for
darwin.
