Subject: What license(s) is Unicode::CheckUTF8 distributed under?
I would like to package this module for Fedora Linux but there's no license terms included in the distribution, which precludes it from being included in Fedora. Could you please specify the terms under which the module can be distributed? Most CPAN modules tend to be licensed "same as perl", i.e. GPL (any version) or Artistic.

I never slapped my normal "same as Perl" license text onto this module because I wasn't sure how that jibed with the Unicode Consortium BSD- like license text here: http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/BRADFITZ/Unicode-CheckUTF8- 1.03/CheckUTF8.xs But on the minimal parts I wrote, you're free to use them under the terms of Perl itself, or the terms of that Unicode Consortium BSD-like license. Whatever you want, really.

Thanks, that's clear enough. The module is now available in Fedora and Fedora EPEL: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/733053
