Subject: Can't create repository
NOTE: I can't select 006 as a version, but that is what I'm using I tried using pinto and run into problem: % cat ~/.pinto/config.ini author = aaa local = /tmp/pinto-rep % ls -l /tmp/pinto-rep total 0 % pinto create Can't read /tmp/pinto-rep/modules/02packages.details.local.txt.gz: No such file or directory at /home/migo/perl5/lib/perl5/Pinto/Index.pm line 76 Also I don't see why config file is required when the only required option (local) can be given on command line? Seems like unnecessary hurdle Regards!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I've fixed this in the repository, and will make a new release shortly. Pinto is still evolving rapidly, but I expect the interface will start to stabilize next week. Keep watching. -Jeff
Starting with Pinto-0.025_003, the creation process has changed significantly. Each repository has its own config file that is automatically generated with default values, or the values you pass on the command line. So I'm marking this ticket as closed. Pinto-0.025 is dramatically different from prior versions. I'm still working out the kinks. But feel free to kick the tires and give me your thoughts. -- Jeffrey Thalhammer Imaginative Software Systems www.imaginative-software.com
