Subject: Test::Pod is listed in Makefile.PL

Hi, maybe you want to drop the Test::Pod from the Makefile.PL as other perl packages. More details below. Best regards, Martin https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=377057 Torsten Veller <tove@gentoo.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Comment #1 from Torsten Veller <tove@gentoo.org> 2011-07-31 06:42:12 UTC --- It complains because Test::Pod is listed in Makefile.PL. Other distributions don't list it in Makefile.PL. MailTools only uses (well, it tries to use, ie it doesn't even fail if it is not installed,) this module during tests. If you enable tests, the ebuild will install Test::Pod. So ignore the warning.

Better: I will move t/99pod.t to the (relatively new) xt/ directory, only run when the distribution is made. That removes the need for the dependency. Thanks for the warning. -- Regards, MarkOv ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Overmeer MSc MARKOV Solutions Mark@Overmeer.net solutions@overmeer.net http://Mark.Overmeer.net http://solutions.overmeer.net
