Subject: A bug in the installation
Hello, I've been trying to install mod_perl-1.99 against Apache 2.0.36. I followed the installation instructions for Apache and successfully compiled and installed apache. I've tried to install mod_perl and the make fails while reading the modperl_apache_includes.h file. The make is looking for an "apr_lock.h" file which is referenced inside this modperl_apache_includes.h. However, no apr_lock.h file seems to exist in any of the httpd (apache) build directories nor in the installed location. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but this seems to be the only reason why the installation fails. thanks for any help. D. Miller

try using modperl-2.0 from cvs or wait for 1.99_02 to be released (soonish)
