Subject: Support for API mode 2
If your XBee is configured to use Escape characters none of the packets checksum, and it doesn't unescape the bytes that need to be unescaped. I have some code that fixes this (for read only) that I can give you as an example.

This is a good feature. I'd like to see the code if you still have it handy.
