The --gitpan option should be deprecated because the gitpan project has not updated any repos in a year and there has been no news regarding its future.

Good point. But before doing anything harsh, let's poke at the source and see what's up with Gitpan. *poke* Ô Schwern, can you give us the skinny on Gitpan? Do you plan to have it update distributions once more in the future, or is it a project that, for now, has entered hibernation? Joy, `/anick

One and a half year later --- gitpan is still not up-to-date, so probably it's really time to deprecate this option? Regards, Slaven
