Subject: MacOSX hidden files (?) in distribution
See for example at http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/RDIETRICH/xmlrpc-pureperl-0.03/ how the extracted distribution looks like. On many systems this prevents even building the distribution correctly. I think using "make dist" should prevent from this problem, at least if a modern ExtUtils::MakeMaker is used. Regards, Slaven
