Subject: Bad quote in string with "'" and spaces
Hello, the string q{etc/alternatives/MARKETING/Products Index/AA0062 Workin\'Hard/EXP 0.4/Technical Sheet/ea} after shell quote becomes q{etc/alternatives/MARKETING/Products\ Index/AA0062\ Workin\'\''Hard/EXP\ 0.4/Technical\ Sheet/ea'} As you could see there are extra quotes added between Workind and Hard. No extra quotes there, but the quoting style in sh is just so simple: no character within singe-quotes can be a special character Unfortunately that means you need other ways to quote the single-quote character: - use a backslash escape - surround it with double-quotes
