Subject: no fallback when pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org is down
Last weekend alioth.debian.org went down as planned: http://lists.debian.org/debian-infrastructure-announce/2011/05/msg00000.html While it's down (and still is right now) the Module::CPANTS::Kwalitee::Distros::get_debian_data sub cannot retrieve http://pkg-perl.alioth.debian.org/CPANTS.txt and now Test::Kwalitee hangs. I would be better to use CPAN itself to host and mirror this kind of files worldwide, so we wouldn't have a single point of failure. Publishing this file on CPAN on a regular basis should be quite straight-forward. Thanks! Alex

I don't think that would be the right way to handle the issue. The right way would be that Test::Kwalitee ignore this metric as does not show errors in the ditribution. -- Olivier Mengué - http://perlresume.org/DOLMEN
