Subject: test count mismatch for Test::Fatal on 5.13.1
Date: Tue, 26 Apr 2011 12:20:06 +0100
To: bug-Test-Fatal [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Zefram <zefram [...] fysh.org>
Test-Fatal's test suite has some logic about performing different tests depending on Perl version, pivoting around a threshold of 5.13.1. But the test count logic doesn't match the logic determining whether the extra test is actually run. The result is that on 5.13.1 one more test gets run than was declared, and the extra test fails. Attached patch fixes. (Yes, 5.13.1 is notionally obsolete. It's still useful when tracking the progress of version-dependent bugs, and so keeping the toolchain working on it is useful.) -zefram
