I'd like to add rST support to Text::Markup, but cannot install Text::Restructured. The reason is because Safe::World fails to install. It looks to me like this is a common problem:
http://www.cpantesters.org/distro/S/Safe-World.html#Safe-World-0.14
That's a *lot* of red. It explains why Text::Restructured has had only 2 tests run against it:
http://www.cpantesters.org/distro/T/Text-Restructured.html#Text-Restructured-0.003045
If Safe::World can't be installed, the Text::Restructured tests are never run.
Since Safe::World hasn't been updated since 2004. Maybe it's time to dump it in favor of something else? I believe Safe does the same things, and it ships with core Perl, so it should greatly improve the portability of your module.
Thanks,
David
