Subject: report error details, do not require root
Hi Strzelecki Lukasz, I made a fork of Passwd::Unix which removes checking $) =~ /^0/ and adds $errstr so users can get a detailed error string whenever an error occurs. The code is also on github http://github.com/sharyanto/perl- Passwd-Unix-Alt/. Please consider whether this can be merged into Passwd::Unix. Regards, Steven

Hi Steven, I think, that it is good idea, so I'll merge codes and in a few days should be new release of Passwd::Unix on CPAN. However I'll made little change and there will be function/method error instead of global errstr. -- ----- Best Regards Strzelecki Łukasz
