Subject: cpan client always uses c:\strawberry

I am using Strawberry Perl 5.12.2.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise. During installation, I choose to install it in c:\perl When I attempted to use the cpan client to install a module, I noticed that it was referencing c:\strawberry, rather than c:\perl I then uninstalled and reinstalled in the default, c:\strawberry When I retried, it appeared to work correctly. FYI, the command I used was: install PAR::Packer

This is unfortunately a (known) bug in 5.12.2.0 MSI installer which in not able to install strawberry perl correctly to other than default location (c:\strawberry).

The workaround - after installation to alternative location (e.g. c:\perl) run relocation script: c:\perl\relocation.pl.bat

Note for Curtis+Adam - we really need to fix this.
