Subject: "preparing a CPAN Testers report" taking a long time

I've noticed that sometimes "preparing a CPAN Testers report" take a very long time. Minutes. I don't see any CPU usage while it's happening. Maybe some sort of network timeout? I have network connectivity and no firewall or funny things going on aside from a NAT. CPAN 1.9600 CPAN::Reporter 1.1902 Test::Reporter 1.57 Test::Reporter::Transport::Metabase 1.999008 Metabase::Client::Simple 0.008 -- THIS I COMMAND!

How often does it happen? Can you post your .cpanreporter/config.ini? It's very possibly a network timeout reaching the Metabase -- but I'm not sure why that would happen. I'll see if there's a quick way to enable some debugging output. -- David

Can't say exactly, but often enough that I filed a bug report and spanning more than one install.
