Subject: | Add compression support for fact uploads |
Hello,
I would like the ability to upload facts compressed, as it would save
bandwidth and enable faster uploads if I'm using a relay which queues
tons of facts.
This would mean at least gzip decoding of uploaded facts. It would be
awesome if you could support the entire suite of compressors
HTTP::Message ( 6.01 ) supports:
Apply the given encodings to the content of the message. Returns
TRUE if successful. The "identity" (non-)encoding is always supported;
other currently supported encodings, subject to availability of required
additional modules, are "gzip", "deflate", "x-bzip2" and "base64".
Thanks again for your hard work on this and the important role it plays
in CPANTesters! :)
