Subject: Doc confusion in V 0.97
Hi Adam Thanx for a very useful module. Now... I'm using 'Linux zigzag 2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Wed Jan 12 03:40:32 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux' and 'This is perl 5, version 12, subversion 2'. The problems are with the docs for my_dist_config and my_dist_data. my_dist_config: o "The base directory will be either my_config if the platform supports it, or my_documents otherwise." This is the only reference to my_config in this POD. I suggest adding a section up near my_home, at least acknowledging the existence of my_config, while noting the OSes where it is defined. o "The subdirectory itself will be BASE/Perl/Dist-Name." Perhaps, considering the next sentence in the doc, this should say: Sometimes, the subdir...". Or even better combine it with the next sentence to say ".../Dist-Name, unless the base directory is the user's homedir, in which case ..." o "... my_dist_config will be in ~/.perl/Dist-Name" Well, mine is in my home dir, specifically, my_dist_config: /home/ron/.config/Perl/Local-Wines. And it's '.config/Perl', not '.perl'. Similar comments apply to my_dist_data. Cheers Ron
