String::Ediff module does not build on AIX 5.2

Hi, I am having trouble building the perl module String::Ediff. First it requires the cc_r compiler that I didn't have. Then I took it to another AIX machine having the xlC compiler, but this time cc_r exits with a return code of 1 with errors reported in crypt.h and perl.h files. I am running perl 5.8 version on aix52-02. I have tried your latest version 0.03, but did not try prior versions I appreciate your help on this thanks, Prakash
