Subject: Change 'new Object()' syntax to Object->new() in POD
The synopsis and code examples all use the outdated 'new Object()' style syntax, and since code is often copy-and-pasted then edited in place, these spread into codebases. In the interests of promoting good practice, the POD should be updated.

Thanks. It's always good to set a good example. I've pushed the change to the git repository and it'll be included when the next bugfix release happens.
